Privacy Policy, Terms of Use & Legal Disclosures

Last updated: 19 במאי 2026 · May 19, 2026 · Applies to Conflict Tinder (טינדר ניגודי עניינים)

Not legal advice: This document is transparency for users. Have a qualified Israeli attorney review your operator status, corporate form, insurance, and regulatory duties before high-traffic launch.

1. What this service is

Conflict Tinder is a non-commercial civic entertainment tool presenting public-information topics in an engaging format (including humour or satire where noted). It is not affiliated with the Knesset, any ministry, Bituach Leumi, or any other public authority.

Data accuracy, freshness & official sources

Figures are sourced from open-government portals (e.g. data.gov.il), publisher APIs, or other cited sites. They are refreshed periodically — not in real time unless stated.

⚠️ Always confirm critical facts (amounts, dates, eligibility, wait times, permits) with the relevant authority before acting.

We are not liable for errors in upstream datasets, processing bugs, rounding, or outdated snapshots.

Public figures, companies & defamation (Israel)

Commentary on elected officials, public servants, companies named in public registries, or political events may be protected as public-interest speech, fair comment, or satire under Israeli law (including the Defamation Law, 5725-1965, ss. 14–15), without waiving mandatory protections for private individuals.

Privacy — what we collect

Typically: no accounts, no deliberate collection of name/ID for marketing. Filtering and game state run in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage / URL hash) unless stated otherwise.

Sharing & your responsibility

Share buttons and WhatsApp links generate text you send. You are responsible for republication, defamation, privacy of third parties, and compliance with platform rules. Do not harass individuals or misrepresent content as official.

Acceptable use

Intellectual property

UI, code, and branding are protected. Open datasets remain under their publishers’ licences. Do not copy the service commercially without written permission.

Children

Not directed at children under 13. Teens should use with adult supervision; civic/financial topics require adult context.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES (MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by mandatory law, the operator is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make based on displayed data or AI text. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (typically zero for free tools) or (b) ILS 100 — whichever applicable law allows.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify the operator against third-party claims arising from your misuse, your shared content, or your breach of these terms — only to the extent such allocation is valid under applicable consumer-protection law.

Force majeure

We are not responsible for failures due to events beyond reasonable control (hosting outages, upstream API changes, war, regulation, etc.).

Takedown & corrections

Report factual errors, accessibility barriers, or unlawful content to hello@familytools.io with URL, screenshot, and description. We respond in good faith within a reasonable time; no obligation to agree with every request.

Governing law & jurisdiction

Governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction: competent courts in Tel Aviv–Yafo, subject to mandatory consumer forums elsewhere where non-waivable.

EEA/UK/Swiss users retain statutory rights that cannot be contracted away; contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981

Where processing qualifies as a “database” under Israeli law, you may have access/correction rights. We will verify identity reasonably before responding. Mandatory provisions prevail over conflicting contract text.

Accessibility

We target WCAG 2.1 AA where feasible. Known gaps (charts, maps, motion): /accessibility.html. Reports: hello@familytools.io (subject: Accessibility).

Changes

We may update this page; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use may constitute acceptance where law permits.

Operator identification

This service is published under the FamilyTools brand by [Legal entity name — fill before major launch] ([ח.פ. / עוסק מורשה]), registered address: [Registered address]. Primary contact: hello@familytools.io. Update additional-apps/legal/operator.config.json before high-traffic launch.

Cookies & similar technologies

We aim to minimise tracking. Essential storage (e.g. localStorage for preferences, game state, or privacy consent) does not require a marketing cookie banner in many cases, but non-essential analytics or advertising pixels require disclosure and, where applicable under Israeli law (Privacy Protection Regulations), consent before loading. If we enable Plausible, Google Analytics, or similar, we will update this page and show an in-app consent control.
